Service Description

Individual intake sessions are held separately with each partner and take place after the initial joint session. These appointments provide an opportunity for each person to speak about their personal experience of the relationship. The purpose of these sessions is to gather background information, understand relevant relationship history, and hear each partner's perspective on the concerns that have brought you to counselling. This may include identifying patterns, communication styles, stressors, and areas of strength within the relationship. These sessions are not ongoing individual therapy. Information gathered is used to shape the focus of the ongoing joint sessions, ensuring that the couples work reflects both partners' experiences and remains balanced and anchored in what each partner has shared.
