Initial Joint Session

A first session for couples to explore concerns, communication patterns, and goals together.

1 h 30 min
180 Australian dollars
In-Person, Video Call, Phone Call

Service Description

The initial joint session brings both partners together to talk through experiences in the relationship. This includes areas of ongoing difficulty, recurring cycles that feel hard to shift, and what each partner hopes to understand or address through counselling. I guide the conversation in a calm, controlled way using Gottman Method-informed principles. The focus is on helping both partners speak openly and feel heard, observing interaction dynamics and cycles, and understanding how communication, stress, and conflict are operating within the relationship. This session is not about reaching immediate decisions. It provides a shared starting foundation for the work and sets the direction for how couples counselling will continue.
